Horseback Riding & Eagle Viewing - Seward, Alaska

Enjoy the Kenai Peninsula’s beautiful mountain ranges, meadows and river basins on horseback. Your guide explore some of the most scenic Alaskan landscape imaginable accessible by horseback. View bald eagles up close, see where they nest and watch them feed. You will ride through part of the old town of Seward that was destroyed by the 1964 earthquake. Your guide will educate you about the many local stories of people who lived in old town and what is was like to experience the largest recorded earthquake in history. Then ride down through the meadows where wild flowers meet the sea. You will experience first hand one of Alaska’s premier birding locations, migrating waterfowl and varies species of seabirds line the coastline of Resurrection Bay along with moose, mountain goat and bear.

We recommend you carry a daypack with sun tan lotion, camera, binocular, light rain gear snacks, bottled water, gloves, hat and first aid kit.
