Bear Viewing Safaris - Homer Alaska

Homer is the perfect location to explore the Alaska Peninsula. Float planes leave daily from Homer traveling the 70 miles across Cook Inlet’s volcanic coastal mountain range where thousands of Alaskan brown bears roam the countryside fishing the local river tributaries, feeding on lush vegetation and wild berries. Your guide will give priceless insight into these amazing creatures and educate you about the complexity of their remarkable wilderness eco-system. This is a full day trip that requires moderate physical abilities and a minimum age of 8 years old.

We recommend you carry a daypack with sun tan lotion, camera, binocular, light rain gear, snacks, bottled water, gloves, hat and first aid kit.
